Alyse Michelle brings a wealth of professional expertise and a warm, supportive approach to coaching young performers. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre and a certificate in Special Education from American University and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at Boston University with a focus on supporting children and families. Alyse currently teaches music at the Child Development Center at Wyndham outside of Richmond, VA, and has worked extensively with young performers as a teaching artist with White Heron Theatre Company and as an assistant director for children’s theatre programming at Nantucket Dreamland.
With professional stage, opera, film, and tour experience—including performances at Tanglewood and Carnegie Hall—Alyse offers mentorship that balances industry credibility with pedagogical care. Whether mastering self-tapes, preparing for theatre auditions, working with commercial scripts, or building foundational acting skills, she provides tailored, high-energy coaching that helps children and teens grow in confidence and joy. With her background in special education and graduate training focused on children, Alyse has particular experience supporting shy students and neurodivergent learners and adapts lessons to meet each student’s individual strengths and needs.
